One day in Cabo San Lucas: choose one main outing
A workable Cabo San Lucas day can combine a waterfront walk, a meal and one main activity. Avoid building a schedule that depends on a boat tour, kayak trip, long food tour, beach landing and sunset cruise all fitting together.

Morning option: a planned boat outing
If the bay is your priority, book a departure with a meeting point and return time that fit your day. Ask what is actually included: sightseeing, kayaking, snorkeling and beach landings are different activities. Passing the Arch does not mean you can swim there or go ashore.
A suitable guided kayak or snorkel trip can be the morning’s main activity instead of an additional excursion after a boat tour. Check conditions, equipment and participation requirements before committing.
A town-based alternative
If you prefer to stay on land, start with the public marina walkways and nearby central streets. Plaza Amelia Wilkes offers a cultural stop near the church and museum area. Check any interior opening and admission separately.
Leave time for shade, road crossings and rest. A central-town route is different from walking around an exposed headland, and the Arch is not reached by an ordinary public hike.
Lunch and a manageable afternoon
Choose a place to eat that fits the actual route. You can have a meal downtown or by the marina without also booking a full food tour. If a dedicated tasting tour is your main interest, allow its full duration and move another activity out of the plan.
For a beach afternoon, establish the access point, conditions and return transport. Médano can offer a lively setting, while a hotel beach or a Land’s End landing has different arrangements. Do not assume calm swimming or unrestricted access from a photograph.
Art, shopping or a slower walk

For nightlife, select a venue that suits your group and arrange the journey home. A pub crawl does not universally include VIP admission, drinks or every club you want to enter.
