Also known as Cañon de la Zorra, this secluded natural oasis features a short hiking trail that meanders through the captivating Baja California Desert.

The Splendors of Fox Canyon

The trail at the canyon will take you past a freshwater lagoon and a spectacular 40-foot (12-meter) waterfall.

The scenic beauty surrounding you at every turn is guaranteed to take your breath away.

Don’t forget to pack your bathing suit for a refreshing dip in the lagoon!

Wildlife and Flora

A visit here offers an exciting opportunity to encounter local wildlife and indigenous plant species.

The oasis is teeming with life, and if you’re lucky, you might spot some unique fauna and flora that call this desert paradise home.

The Hike at Fox Canyon

Those with their own vehicles can easily visit Fox Canyon.

The trail is well-marked, and while it’s not overly challenging, appropriate footwear is a must.

A self-guided walk offers a chance for peaceful communion with nature, but consider hiring a local guide to enrich your experience.

The Advantages of Guided Tours

An experienced guide will ensure your safety during the hike and educate you on the unique plant and animal species sheltered in this desert oasis.

A number of operators provide full-day private or shared tours, making your visit a breeze.

The Culinary Delights of the Region

Many of these tours also include stops for a traditional Bajan lunch in nearby communities, such as Miraflores.

At Los Cabos

I used to live in Los Cabos for some time and worked here as a boat captain in one of Cabo San Lucas' leading tour companies. Back then, I came for 6 months but stayed for 18. I've done a bunch of things, and visited multiple hemispheres. I traveled and lived in other countries. And now I'm back here, At Los Cabos.
